OUR STORY

West Edinburgh Running Club is not the oldest running club in Edinburgh. It is not the largest either. West Edinburgh Running Club is NOT many things.

Yet, in such a short space of time, WERC as we are affectionately known, has become many things, to many people. It is community, competition, friendships, fitness, challenging, comfy…all of us come here for our own reasons.

As we look to the future and think about what the club will be in the future, let us look back at how WERC began.
