Thursday Session
The Resolution Run
The Resolution Run is all about running by feel. For this run, everyone completes the same set course with no watches, Strava, or phone apps. Before starting, each runner predicts their finishing time, then runs the course trying to finish as close to that time as possible using feel alone. If you finish even one second faster than your predicted time, you’re disqualified. The winner is the runner who finishes closest to their predicted time (without going faster) and earns a small prize.

Where - Saughton Park (Skate park car park)
Distance - approx 8km
Pace - chatty and relaxed
Vibes - Christmas cheer!
Come and join Jan and Anna for a fun festive Boxing Day run, meeting at Saughton Park. We’ll head out for a lovely 8km run following the surrounding areas before heading back to Saughton Park.
Plenty of time for a lie in and back in time for round 2 of Christmas indulgence!

7 Hills Social Run
Saturday Morning -
We’re feeling festive already - and what better way to celebrate than with a social run!
Our friends at @portobellorunningclub have kindly invited us along to their “Snow White and the Seven Hills” pre-Christmas social run on Friday 20th December at 9am, meeting at Calton Hill.
Expect hills, laughs, and plenty of festive spirit - followed by some well-earned social drinks afterwards!
Open to all signed-up WERC members - come join the fun!
