Overview, current standings, and event list
The club championship is an annual inter-club competition that encourages participation in local races, celebrates great performances and promotes friendly competition in our club.
Each year the club nominates specific races and encourages members to get out and run! Points are awarded to runners based on their age-graded performance.
The club championship begins in April and runs to the end of March yearly. You will be asked if you wish to opt in or out when you sign up as a member. Races are spread across the year and you are able to join the club championship no matter when you join the club.

The 2025/2026 Club Championship has ended as of 21st March 2026. Final results will be posted here after the prize-giving on 26th March 2026. Well done to all who participated.

OVERVIEW
The WERC Championships recognise members' racing performances throughout the year. Points are awarded based on participation and performance at designated championship races.

The Club Championship runs from April 2nd 2026 to 18th March 2027
We have more than 20 events to choose from
Your top 8 performances count to your total score
Points are awarded by age-graded performance
You can receive bonus points for participating in more than 8 events
Members can opt-in or opt-out at any point
You must be entered into races under the club name, and wear club kit
We do the calculations for you, however you must be discoverable by the club name in race results, and your Parkrun profile.
Your “any marathon” and “any ultra” time are the only races you need to tell us about, and when you have volunteered three times. Do so by emailing info@werunclub.co.uk
Results will be formally announced at the prize-giving in March each year and the top performers will be awarded prizes!
