West Edinburgh Running Club is successful due to the foundational principles of Community, Inclusivity, and Quality that run through all aspects of our club.

In order to ensure these values are it is imperative that all members read these documents at sign-up and at frequent times during their journey with the club, to know what you should expect at the club, and what reasonable expectations are placed on you as a member.

Adult Safeguarding Policy

The purpose of the Adult Safeguarding Policy is to safeguard adults and to ensure that everyone involved in our sport is aware of:

  • The legislation, policy and procedures for safeguarding adults.

  • Their role and responsibility for safeguarding adults.

  • What to do or who to speak to if they have a concern relating to the welfare or wellbeing of an adult within the organisation.
