Women’s Health 10k Glasgow

By Valerie Willis

On Sunday 16th June I ran a slightly rainy Glasgow Women’s 10k, It starts off at the riverside transport museum, up what is probably the only hill in the run and takes you along the Clyde passed the Armadillo, then over on to the other side of the Clyde and back over George v bridge, then into a brilliant cheering crowd in George square and then on to the very pretty Glasgow Green and back to the cheering crowds of George square and the finish line. It was a very friendly welcoming race and pretty flat for someone contemplating a first 10k. At the end your given a medal, T-shirt and goody bag with water, snack and hydration tablets. I would definitely recommend this race.
