WERCING GROUP STAGE 1 & 2
The WERCING group is our two year club development project designed to include the membership in decision-making, club development and club sustainability. Through this project we hope to create a robust and sustainable development plan for the club and organically identify the future leaders of the club.
The WERCING group will be delivered in stages and members are welcome to opt-in and opt-out of involvement at any stage. We hope that you take the opportunity to be involved along the way. The success of The WERCING group will be determined by how involved the membership are, as it is you who understands this club better than anyone.
Today, we are excited to announce the first two stages.
Stage 1 and stage 2 are being led by our partners at Club Development Consultancy and are separate but aligned activities:
Stage 1 - Governance survey
A very short survey that asks you how you feel about the club's leadership. This can be found right here and will inform the direction of stage 2. This survey is hosted by our partners at CDC and your comments will not be seen by club leadership. Please complete this ASAP.

Stage 2 - Club development workshops
On both the 4th and the 11th of June* we will be hosting a club development workshop that will use the survey results to put you in the leadership chair and influence the future direction of the club. These workshops will take place at Oriam Scotland's Sports Performance Centre at 10am, immediately after the Oriam parkrun. Why not head along to parkrun and spend the rest of the morning influencing the future development of the club. A big turnout would mean the world to us and have a material impact on the club's future.
*We are running two workshops to give everyone the opportunity to attend. You do not need to attend both.
Of course, these first two stages are just the beginning. Over the next two years we will continue to provide more opportunities for you to be involved - and we can't wait to see what your involvement does for the club's success in the future!
Thanks all
Alan,
