WERC CONTINUES TO DEVELOP ITS DIGITAL PRESENCE

West Edinburgh Running Club's Social Media and Communications Lead, El, recently attended the Scottish Athletics Social Media, Video Editing and Online Safety Webinar as part of the club's ongoing commitment to developing its online presence.

The webinar provided valuable insights into creating engaging social media content, improving video editing skills and, importantly, ensuring the safety and privacy of club members when sharing content online.

As WERC continues to grow, social media plays an important role in celebrating members' achievements, promoting club activities and showcasing the welcoming and inclusive running community that WERC has built.

El attended the session to further develop her skills and explore ways to improve the club's digital communications, while ensuring that member safety remains a priority.

The knowledge gained will help shape future social media content and communications, allowing WERC to continue celebrating its members and sharing club news in a responsible, engaging and inclusive way.
