ROSEBURN PATH

We have been approached by the 'Save the Roseburn path' group who have asked us to submit an organisational response to Edinburgh Council's consultation on the proposed tram route along the existing Roseburn path cycle route.

The committee have tentatively approved doing so as, among other reasons, we feel it is an important local route for runners. Our position will be that we oppose the proposed tram line using this route.

If as a signed up member of the club you are comfortable with us doing so on the club's behalf, you do not need to do anything. If you are uncomfortable with us doing so, please let us know by emailing info@werunclub.co.uk before the 30th of October. We will read any objections should they come in and the committee will make a reasoned decision. Should we not receive any objections I will personally lodge our response on the 31st.
